Gallery 79 Glass Art

Our latest venture is crafting and retailing stained glass and Glass art in Gallery 79 at 5 High St Charlton Vic.

We both love art, collecting glass and toys, both educational and fun. Our new shop, Gallery 79 reflects this. We stock the things we love including:

• Australian originals including oil paintings, watercolour and pencil

• Framed and ready to frame selected prints.

• Unique lead light lamps made on the premises by Geoff.

• Imported quality Art glass, glass and crystal figurines and glass jewellery.

• Classic and nostalgia toys including wind up toys, pop pop boats, and classic tin spinning tops.

At present we have limited but interesting stock and we have new stock arriving regularly. We intend to specialise in art and lampshades which are influenced by the timeless Art Deco period. Geoff is currently making two lamps for the Rex Theatre based on original Art Deco lamps which were in the building.

We both work for a living and the Gallery is a part time business. We are not out to make a fortune and our prices are very reasonable. We figure if we don’t sell our stock we will have a really enjoyable collection to live with.

We love to see people coming through the door and usually have the time to swap stories about glass, art and toys and of course the Outback.
